To Scale tallies visits with nothing stored in your browser, yet an outside analytics provider is handed every reader's IP address and browser type, along with the page viewed. It has no forms, accounts, comments or newsletter, and it sets no cookies.
What the browser keeps

No cookies are set either. Two small choices are remembered, and only one of them outlasts the tab. Both stay in the reader's own browser, and nothing about them is sent anywhere.
The light or dark theme is kept in session storage, and it is gone when the tab closes. The measure last chosen on the drawing goes into local storage instead. That can be machines, live tables, hotel floors or stage seats. It stays on the reader's own device between visits. Clearing site data in the browser removes it.
Links to other sites
Links that leave this site follow the rules of the site they open. That covers the casinos' own pages on greatcanadian.com, help services such as ConnexOntario and PlaySmart, and the paid links. Their privacy terms apply once a reader arrives there.
Only the home page carries paid links, each tagged Ad; they sit in the menu, straight under the opening screen and close to the end. A commission comes to this site from the one shared online casino partner they all point to. That partner is not permanent. Inner pages, this one among them, contain no paid links at all.
